“Thanks once again for a fabulous day! Everyone was extremely satisfied with the day, both snorkelers and divers. For example Marie, who was snorkeling, considered bailing out the afternoon but finally decided to stay on and when I came back up on the boat at La Formigue she told me how glad she was taking that decision! Also, Jonas and I concluded together that our second dive was really top class! Mediterranean isn’t comparable to Red Sea or the Carribean in terms of corals and fish life but it was very much better than expected and also, the dive sites out at the light house was really amazing!”

Mats Kronbladh, ieSecure, Sweden

“A very big thanks to Alex, Noemie and your team of helpers. Our “Scuba 2000” 2011 trip with you in the South of France was a fantastic dive holiday.  We enjoyed a great variety of dives to keep all our levels of divers interested, from those with 15 dives to those with 4,000+.  Anyone who says “The Med is dead” obviously hasn’t dived in the South of France with you two and your team.  We’ll definitely be back in 2012.

You both create a good atmosphere with attentiveness to service that takes a great weight off me, the group leader’s shoulders.  Roll on this year’s trip.

“A huge thanks to Alex and Noemie for two fantastic dive trips. The diving was far better than we ever expected and there were a great variety of dive sites to keep our groups interested. Anyone who says ‘The Med is dead’ obviously hasn’t dived here! We’ll definitely be back!”

Lesley Allen, Adventure Diving, County Meath

“A big thanks to Noemie and Alex for your welcome and service that made our trip almost perfect.  All of the GESP divers thank you and congratulate you for your attitude and good humour that was totally in line with what we were looking for.

A cocktail of good atmosphere, attentive service and dive sites rich in life and blessed with thousands of colours.

The trip was a great pleasure for us and it seems the same for the others groups that visit you.  So, long may you continue and we hope to see you again on or underwater.

John du GESP. Les bulleurs de Pontarlier.

“Myself and five members of St Ives (Cambs) BSAC spent 5 fantastic days diving and enjoying the great weather, food and quiet a bit of drink in the St Raphael area of France.

Alex and the French diving shop we attached ourselves to proved to be very friendly with a happy, easy going attitude and needed no excuse to break out the vino and raid the fridge!

The water was clear with rocky coves and cliffs and a largely sandy bottom, masses of life to keep the photographers busy. The care and efficiency demonstrated by Alex and the guys made for an all round enjoyable and memorable trip.

I hope to do it again before too long.”

“Epsom College CCF has been using Diamond Diving for the past three years and Alex has proven to be a very reliable person who really enjoys his work. Alex’s instructional ability is outstanding, he makes the diving fun and very safe for the cadets. His cheerful approach rubs off on all and the cadets enjoy his company as well as his teaching.

He is an honest hard working man who will go out of his way to ensure that your time with him is nothing but enjoyable, I would recommend Diamond Diving to anyone that wants to learn diving.”

“Alex is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, flexible and worked hard giving his time, including evenings, to fit in with our wishes. We enjoyed excellent diving which surpassed our expectations, the highlight being La Gabiniere which was an absolutely fantastic dive and extremely rich in life. Alex is also a good diver who inspired confidence in sites unknown to us.”

“I would like to thank you for providing the Microsoft Dive Club with an excellent trip this year. We arrived at the airport to be met and taken to a beautiful rustic hotel. Hotel Alexandra in Juan Les Pins is in a good position with very friendly staff and some of the best local cuisine we tasted. The diving that you provided was very good, being a short boat trip from the dive centre and in warm clear waters. We were particularly impressed with having a 3 hour lunch break! Overall it was a very relaxing weekend with an experience of traditional French diving and cuisine.”

“For this year’s club trip over the August Bank holiday weekend, we decided to go to the South of France (makes a change to the North Sea!). Alex Diamond arranged all the accommodation and transfers from Nice airport and everything worked well, despite people arriving into different terminals and a baby in the group! The accommodation was clean and within walking distance of the marina area which has lots of restaurants for evening meals. On the diving side, the boats were busy but seemed to be well-organised, especially after the Sunday dive when bread, pâté and local rosé was offered in lieu of the English cuppa! It was interesting diving on WWII wrecks in clear water, with congers and morays hiding in the nooks and crevices. The wreck of the Rubis (submarine) was particularly enjoyable as it sits intact on the seabed at 40m+ in clear blue water. There were varieties of nudibranchs and smaller marine life which appealed to certain members, and enough wrecks to satisfy others. On the whole, everyone enjoyed their French trip and we are thinking of exploring Diamond Diving’s other dive base off Porquerolles in the near future.”

Haslemere SAC (SAA)

“Many thanks for all the hospitality on Sunday. We all enjoyed the diving and the lads who did their DSD’s are now thinking of doing their OW!! The dive sites that were chosen for Sunday were fantastic and I could not believe that diving in the South of France was that good”

“We at Scuba 2000 had two great trips in 2007 with Diamond Diving; with Alex’s friendly, professional and flexible service I cannot recommend Diamond Diving enough. We had some incredible dives with visibility from 20 to 45m on the Pyramids (in St.Raphael). The water was warm with great fish life too. I for one am already looking forward to 2008 trips with Alex and to diving the wreck off St Raphael”

Karen Parrott, Scuba 2000, Sussex

“Had a great time with Diamond Diving. Some great dive sites with plenty of fish life to keep me occupied. Boats were well equipped and diving schedule good. I would recommend Diamond Diving and am looking forward to my wreck trip in 2008”

Stephen Manton, Planet Scuba, Hertfordshire

“Just got back from St Raphael and there’s one happy dive club and it’s all thanks to Alex of Diamond Diving. Good transfers, nice hotel and a fun town. We went expecting average diving in a lovely location and the diving surprised us all. The coral and fish life were quite phenomenal. We’ll be back in 2008!!!

“Alex instructed 7 Army cadets from Epsom College CCF on the Open Water Course from 19th to 25th August 2007. Alex worked very hard on this course and his abilitity to teach was extremely high. He quickly had the attention of all students, they respected Alex and listened to what he was saying. Alex has a great sense of humour and made the theory work enjoyable each morning and evening. Alex made sure that all drills were practiced time and time again before the cadets dived from the boat, this for me was great to watch bearing in mind the problems of students participating in extreme sports. The college is hoping to run another course this year and we hope Alex will be able to teach.”
