Please note that course
availability depends on
overall demand. We will
do everything we can to
accommodate you but it
is logistically
impossible to offer all
courses on all trips.
Please call or e-mail
for further information.
Diamond Diving prides
itself on a high
standard of diving
tuition. If you compare
our course fees with
other dive centres and
resorts you will find
that we are at the
expensive end of the
market. The reasons for
this are outlined below:
We never teach
any of the range of
PADI courses we
offer with the
maximum ratios
permitted. This is
for two reasons.
Firstly, we are
bound to operate
under French diving
law which sets a
maximum student to
instructor ratio of
4:1. Secondly we
believe small class
sizes are vital to
optimising your
learning experience
and creating safe
and confident
divers.
Our courses,
within the
constraints of your
holiday time, are
scheduled to suit
the student. We will
be flexible wherever
possible.
We can arrange
to get student kits
to you long before
your holiday to
maximise the
advantages inherent
in home study (the
only cost here is
the postage). Even
better we can supply
the new eLearning
option (see below)
that will permit you
to complete the
entire theory
section of the Open
Water Diver course
online prior to your
arrival in France.
We believe
in supplementing and
increasing your
diving knowledge as
much as possible.
This includes, among
other things,
information on the
Mediterranean
ecosystem, boat
etiquette and
answering your
questions fully and
attentively.
We are not
affiliated to any
particular equipment
reseller or
manufacturer and
will happily provide
advice on equipment
to clients. This is
included within the
course price.
For the Open
Water course your
confined water
training will
encompass a minimum
of twelve hours
instructor time.
