"Alex instructed 7 Army cadets from Epsom College CCF on the Open Water Course from 19th Aug 07 until 25th Aug 07. Alex worked very hard on this course and his abilitity to teach was extremely high. He quickly had the attention of all students, they respected Alex and listened to what he was saying. Alex has a great sense of humour and made the theory work enjoyable each morning and evening. Alex made sure that all drills were practiced time and time again before the cadets dived from the boat, this for me was great to watch bearing in mind the problems of students participating in extreme sports.
