If you dive within our structure, it is not mandatory to take a DAN diver insurance because you will be automatically covered by our insurance. Nevertheless, we recommend that you take an individual diver insurance if you dive outside of France or that you consider doing so. DAN Europe insurance.
Golfe Juan is a small town along the sea, between Cannes and Juan Les Pins, and very well connected:
By train (station Golfe Juan / Vallauris): 1 minute walk from the Dive Centre.SNCF.
By road: A8 exit 44 Antibes. Google Map.
By plane: Nice Airport is half an hour drive from the dive center. You can then rent a car, take the train (from Nice St Augustin train station) or take a taxi. Nice Airport Transfers / Golfe Juan. To search for the best flight, we recommend using Skyscanner.
In terms of accommodation, if you want to stay in and keep things simple, we advise you to take accommodation in Golfe Juan. By cons, if you prefer a little night life then you should choose a hosting on Antibes Juan Les Pins.
Compared to diving in the area, the South of France can provide high quality diving in the clear & warm waters. Visibility is excellent (it regularly reaches 25 to 30 meters visibility), and the marine life and the coastal environment are healthy and they get better every year, thanks to the efforts of the region . The dive sites are numerous, spectacular and very diverse. The Mediterranean offers including merveilles. Our divers are often pleasantly surprised by the diversity and density of wildlife offered by the Riviera, including divers who have dived all over the Mediterranean. The diving in the bay of Golfe-Juan is a mix of deep potatoes, vertical drop-offs, canyons, caves and vast shallow trays. There is for everyone, from beginner up to most experienced diver.
