Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)

DESCRIPTION

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) is the most popular and flexible introductory scuba diving programme in the world.  The programme typically runs over a full day.

The morning dive involves a thorough briefing followed by a confined water session in shallow water off the beach. You will go through a number of basic skills and then get a chance to explore the underwater world in safe conditions getting used to buoyancy, breathing and the equipment.

The afternoon dive (optional) is a “real” dive at an easy Open Water dive site where you manage yourself under close supervision by one of our Instructors.

With the full day option at the end you will receive a certificate that can be used as a credit (both time and money) towards the PADI Open Water Course. It credits you for the first of the five confined water modules and the first of the four Open Water dives. This referral is valid for one year and can be redeemed with any PADI dive centre or active teaching status PADI Instructor.

Dive sites are always chosen to provide shallow depths and be protected from the prevailing wind.
