Highlights, congratulations, Eagle Rays, giant Jackfish, what a 2008 season

We’d like to thank all of our customers who contributed to a very busy and memorable third season. We appreciate your support and hope to see as many of you as possible back next year. Please continue to spread the word!

We’d also like to congratulate the following individuals on their various PADI qualifications gained with us over the season:

Darren, Eric, Dexter, Boy, Hark, Olaf, Graham, Virinia, Peter, James, Jared, Frank, Emily, Elinor, Tim, Joelle, David T, David H, Kate, Chris, Sarah, Gillian, Bryan, Kostas, Olivia, Sharna and Dan. Well done all of you and keep diving!

Also to Claire and Nancy – well done on your progress to date and we have faith you will get there…

The new version of the site with dates and prices for 2009 will be published soon. This will include an update in the media archive, notably of a cover feature in the October 2008 edition of Sport Diver magazine. Entitled “Let the train take the strain” and written by freelance photo-journalist Simon Brown this demonstrates the considerable advantages of using train to travel to us for a diving holiday.

It is a fact that the diving in the South of France is currently getting better and better each year. The authorities really are doing a good job of protecting the coastal eco-system. Personal highlights this year include being followed by a 2m long Jackfish on the wreck of The Rubis, seeing an Eagle Ray cruise past at Les Sardineaux, and conducting a try dive amongst baitfish being hunted by Barracuda and Oblades. Also it was pretty special having an experienced instructor with diving experience all over the Med come back from a dive with a massive grin on his face and the words “Bloody hell, is that what Med diving is all about?!” Need I say more?!

We are already getting weekends earmarked for various different groups next year, and as usual the reality of “where we are when” will get shaped on a first come first served basis. So we highly recommend getting in early to avoid disappointment! EASYJET SUMMER FLIGHTS GO ON SALE BETWEEN MID DECEMBER AND MID JANUARY – THIS IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK.

Finally Noemie and I are working on some plans to improve our services to divers for next year…this will be announced by our e-mail newsletter when everything is in place.
